MSU postdoc in Molecular and Cellular Biology
A POSTDOCTORAL POSITION is available at Michigan State University for an NIH funded project to investigate the underlying cellular and molecular mechanisms that impede high levels of integral membrane protein expression in the baculovirus expression system. This knowledge will then be used to develop a new baculovirus based expression
system that is better able to produce these proteins. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Microbiology, or related field, and a strong background in molecular biology, preferably with experience in cell biology, virology, or genomics. Submit curriculum vitae, a brief overview of prior experience and interests, and three letters of reference to: Dr. Suzanne M. Thiem, Michigan State University, Dept. of Entomology, 243 Natural Science. email:smthiem@msu.edu. Review of applications will begin October 1, 2009 and will continue until the position is filled. MSU is an equal opportunity employer.
